Primary Talk Sign up

In effort to give the children opportunities develop their testimonies and to practice speaking in front of people, the primary children are given time to share with others through the sharing of prayer, talks, and scriptures. These talks and scripture shares are to be short and simple (1-2 min.) 

Please review the available slots on the Signup Genius and sign up for days that work well for your family.

Make a note as to which child you are signing up, as many families have more than one.

1) Get to know other members of the ward,
2) See many examples of Christlike living in action
3) Get ideas for activities and resources to support their growth in the Gospel.

The Washington DC Temple Visitors’ Center invites you to join"Everyday Hero Stories" honoring all Veterans (Active Duty, Retired, Reserve, and National Guard), on Sunday, November 15, 2026. The event coincides with the Golden Jubilee Anniversary of the Visitors' Center (1976–2026), which serves as a cornerstone of national commemorations of America’s 250th anniversary. The evening will highlight the Hand of God in the lives of military members during their service to their country.

In preparation, we invite stake members, as desired, to share a story that highlights the Hand of God in the lives of Veterans during their military service, using the above email address.Please include your Veteran's name, email, and dates of service. We will send each honoree a Veterans Day thank-you note. A few stories will be shared at this event. Additionally, the Church Military Relations office would like to include a selection of stories on its website (military.churchofjesuschrist.org). If chosen for either the Veterans Day event or the Church website, we will reach out beforehand to receive formal permission to use the story.
