Last fall, the youth and adult leaders held a series of strategic planning meetings to improve our youth program. We incorporated feedback from several surveys and group discussions as well. Leaders and youth shared common goals around unity, spiritual growth, practical skills, and organized, meaningful activities. They aligned in wanting to build a supportive and Christ-centered community.
The youth emphasized the importance of fun, informal socializing, acknowledgment of doubts, and personalized support, while leaders focused more on structure, spiritual development, and traditional pathways for growth.
