2026 Ward Mission Plan
President Nelson: “Our calling as covenant Israel is to make sure every member of the Church realizes the joy and privileges associated with making covenants with God. It is a call to encourage every covenant-keeping man and woman, boy and girl, to share the gospel with those who come within their sphere of influence.”
Actions
1.COME UNTO CHRIST: Focus on having the companionship of the Holy Ghost so that you can love, share, and invite others to come unto Christ as you also do the same. (Matthew 11:28)
2.TALK OF CHRIST: Let the light of the Gospel shine through you by willingly talking of Christ and His Church in your daily interactions. (Matthew 5:16)
3.PRAY: Pray each day for missionary moments in your own life and in the ward. Have a spare copy of the Book of Mormon on hand to give to someone when prompted. (Joel 2:32)
4.INVITE: Invite a friend to attend church or an activity when you give a talk, share a musical number, or do any other type of service.
Assessment
1.Quarterly, the Ward Council will review the progress of new members, consider opportunities to fellowship prospective members, and discuss ways to enhance member missionary work in line with the Ward Mission Plan.
2. As part of Quorum and Class meetings, the Elders Quorum, Relief Society, Young Men Quorums, and Young Women Classes will set aside time to discuss members’ efforts related to the points in the Ward Mission Plan.
